Review by hotel critic
During my recent getaway to Catalonia, I had the pleasure of staying at the Catalonia Excelsior, a gem nestled in a vibrant area full of eclectic dining options. Immersing myself in the local culture, I indulged in a culinary experience inspired by the best of the "terreta." The hotel's restaurant showcased the essence of Valencian cuisine, treating my taste buds to dishes crafted from fresh, local ingredients. One evening, I dined at the in-hotel restaurant and was captivated by the innovative menu that beautifully blended tradition with modern flair. From the first bite to the last, each dish told a story of culinary expertise and passion for regional flavors. The ambiance was inviting, making my dining experience truly memorable. In the mornings, the Catalonia's café offered a buffet breakfast that, while traditional, provided a satisfying start to the day. The nearby dining options, such as La Manera and Restaurante El Encuentro, added a delightful variety to my gastronomic journey. My stay was not just a travel experience but a culinary odyssey that left me craving more.
